PRAYER AND PRAISE UPDATE

December 2008

ANSWERS TO PRAYER

  • From The Mailbag
For your edification, and for intercession, here is a small selection of remarkable, written responses that we have received by mail, or E-mail, from friends and supporters, and from the field, in this last year. Please continue to lift up these people and countries in prayer. And please continue to intercede that our publications, field trips and courses may continue to renew minds, transform lives, change hearts and disciple nations.
The Power of the Printed Page

“My son used my car to travel to Cape Town over the weekend. This morning I found your tract ‘Where Will You Spend Eternity?’ in my car. I read it. My son was far, very far, from God. I asked God to intervene in his life. As my wife and I were novices at drugs and rehabs, we seek the guidance of God, and now after a year in rehab my son is a Christian and rehabilitated. We only praise the Lord and give Him all the glory. The question of repentance is so very, very important. It is absolutely a must. I pray that your ministry will prosper to such an extent that you will be amazed, that you cannot believe the growth. Please know that I have already prayed for your ministry and thank you for handing out this leaflet.” D.V.

“You really blessed me with your article on Ian Smith. Thank you also for your African book. I am learning a lot from it. Keep going.” B.A., The Netherlands

“The Prayer Meeting article from your book The Power of Prayer Handbook was read out in our prayer meeting on Tuesday night. Well, what a meeting it was! God moved in that meeting like I believe never before. I am going to order some books and bless people in my cell group and men’s group.” S.C.

“I am really blessed by the wonderful work that you are doing in bringing the pure, inspired message of God’s precious, inspired Word to a world bombarded with satanic lies. I pray that you will be greatly encouraged and blessed in your endeavours. May I give you this Scripture that means so much to me – Hebrews 6:10. I am grateful to you for the work that you do for His Kingdom.” G.E., Laingsburg

“The Christian Action Mag is very good and the article on National Repentance is excellent. I also like Taryn’s articles and the succinct Heart of Communism. In Frontline Sudan in the Scriptures is particularly good. Thank you also for the new Biblical Principles. This is a fantastic handbook.” D.S.

Nigeria

“Thank you so much for the rich source of Biblical education and Spiritual instruction through the Library Programme. My life has not been the same.” S.D., University of Ibadan, Nigeria

“Thanks a lot for the helpful books of the Library Programme and the Frontline Fellowship newsletter. I appreciate all these valuable resources and faith building materials.” F.T., Nigeria

Namibia

“Thank you so much for the copy of Slavery, Terrorism and Islam! I am amazed about your productivity! Without dedication and anointing such a volume of work is humanly impossible. We are praying for you for protection, wisdom and good health. May God continue to bless you, make you a blessing and continue to challenge people through you!” P.B., Namibia

Sudan

“I am really very excited for your great deed in my country Sudan. You faced many challenges to let the people know today what is called Faith Under Fire in Sudan. May God bless you more and more. You are Frontline Missionaries, to me you are Frontline Warriors.” J., Sudan

“Did you know that there are 30,000 Sudanese immigrants in Omaha? Most of them are Christians. Dr. Hammond showed them pictures from his 27 missions to Southern Sudan. The people wept to see their homeland, clapped with glee to see the rebel army that has fought to secure a tenuous independence, and were renewed in their commitment to return.” M.E., USA

Zambia

“You are doing a great work for our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.” Evangelist J.D., Zambia

Australia

“Thank you for your newsletter. You really do make a difference in Africa. Over here in Oz the whole Christian missions and aid thing is so commercialized and therefore just all white noise. We have been upset by this superficiality. It is so refreshing getting the Frontline Fellowship Newsletters, from people in the real world, with their eyes on others and their Lord, instead of on themselves. Thanks for keeping us on your mailing list.” S.M., Australia

“I thank you so much for your Power of Prayer Handbook. It has been a blessing and an inspiration to me to delve deeper into my prayer life. Peter, you speak my language and are a strong and powerful voice in this generation. I praise God for you and pray that God will continue to use you. Your book reveals an approach to prayer which has been overlooked and lost in the 20 th Century except for the places you listed where there is great persecution for the Name. The imprecatory prayers are poignant and bold and should be prayed.” R.C., Australia

“Thank you for your kindness and generosity in sending me Reforming our Families. The Power of Prayer Handbook has a wonderful collection of quotations, Bible verses and teachings - all in one spot. Truly a valuable resource.” O.N., Australia

Pakistan

“I have been blessed and challenged by Sudan in Scriptures. I have been working in Pakistan since 1994.” Pastor Y.G., Pakistan

India

“Thank you for Reforming our Families. It’s the Lord’s gift to make many disciples. We would like to translate this book, because we want this book to be useful for many.” V.R., India

“Greetings from India. I read Whatever Happened to the Prayer Meeting?, I was greatly blessed, thank God for you. I am a pastor and missionary to un-reached people in rural India.” Pastor J.C., India

Sweden

“I would like to thank you for your article about the late Ian Douglas Smith. I visited the then Rhodesia several times. It was like entering the ‘Promised Land.’ When I witness the disintegration of that wonderful country I try to imagine what it must have been like for Ian Smith all these years.” C. E., Sweden

Malawi

“Thank you very much for Central Africa for Christ. I am much interested and encouraged with the youngster, Calvin, who really loves the Lord. In the African culture children are always sidelined, but with this young Calvin it’s a great challenge to me and the Young Africa how much they can contribute to the work of God.” N.K., Malawi

Poland

“Thank you for the second edition of Slavery, Terrorism and Islam. I consider it very important. It helped me to get a good perspective on Islam. Please, continue to contribute to the Church writing books like this one.” P. Poland

“The Frontline Fellowship News was especially educational and stirring. Thank you for being so courageous, knowledgeable and willing to confront and stand up to the distorted mindset of Muslims, and Atheists as on the University of Minnesota.” B.T., USA

“Thank you for the spirit-breathed book you sent me to equip me for my ministry here in the Vaal Triangle where we are struggling, but winning the battle for the Kingdom of God.” Rev. S.B.

“Thank you for this precious book Reforming our Families. It is such a wonderful handbook, guideline for young parents and even for grandparents.” B.G.

“I read your article about the glamorization of Ernest ‘Che’ Guevara and you got it dead on right. I just finished your Power of Prayer Handbook and found it inspiring and motivating. I want to have one sent to a fellow believer in Russia. Thanks and God bless!” J.R.

“Thank you for the very encouraging and powerful report. I am always amazed at how much you keep accomplishing and your heart for the hurting and the lost. I praise God for you and you are indeed one of my special modern heroes of the Faith. You inspire me brother. May God keep you going for many years.” Dr. J.G., Coalition on Revival, USA

“Thank you so much for The Battle for the Bible in English, such a wonderful lesson in truth, courage and freedom.” G.L., USA

“Thanks for your GREAT article! I can’t believe pastors could actually say there was no such thing as national guilt! Why was Sodom and Gomorrah destroyed? Why the Flood?” D.T., MN, USA

“Incredible amount of very relevant information you compiled in ‘The Battle for the Mind in the News Media.’ Few are able to identify the strategy and tactics. We fortunately still do have advocates of freedom of thought. We should campaign incessantly and never surrender our principles. You’re a good example in this respect…keep going.” L.D.

“I read every word that Peter Hammond wrote. He was absolutely right. It would be wonderful if every unbeliever would read what he says about the Bible. I want to thank him from the bottom of my heart.” V.P., Carbondale, IL, USA

“Thank you so very much for your letter. Your encouragement has meant a great deal to me. You are a man of Faith and I bless you for it. I thank you for the very special book on prayer. May the Lord continue to strengthen you and your family in your work for Him. May the Lord use you to inspire and encourage the younger men in our nation to take up their calling and go as you have gone.” J., Llandudno

“Thank you very much for your excellent book The Greatest Century of Reformation. It is better to be divided by Truth, than to be united in error.” S.V.

“Thank you indeed for sending Slavery, Terrorism and Islam to me. I am amazed at your ability to keep turning out these books.” M.C., African Enterprise

“I really appreciate your newsletter and we continue to pray for the good work you are doing.” V.B.

“Thank you so much for the Christian Action magazine. It is so well written and courageous. God bless you and all that you do for Africa.” R.M., USA

Character Assassins is a timely message. Thank you for broadening my perspectives and giving an encouraging view of what God is communicating in Africa. I had no idea that such powerful teaching was still available there. I do thank God for the fresh air and the light that Frontline and your message has brought into my life. I will be praying for you, and for our brothers and sisters in Africa.” H.H.

“Dr. Hammond’s perspective in Slavery, Terrorism and Islam is that of a combatant in a civilisational battle on a part of the battlefield that most analysts completely overlook: the missionary sector. It is in this area that national technical means are not collecting; events are occurring unreported by the intelligence architecture and the open source media, and the first-person reporting details are graphic they defy belief. In short, as analysts, we are missing a rich reporting source for what is going on in the countryside. Unlike academics who debate whether a clash of civilizations is even in progress, Hammond writes from the perspective of one decisively engaged in the civilisational fight. His area of emphasis is Africa: Nigeria and the Sudan. He starts with the strategic perspective (Islam as a doctrine) and drills down to specifics: Islam’s hostilities with the non-Islamic world in general and Christianity in particular. He specifically addresses Jihad, women’s issues, slavery, and the strategies and techniques of modern day Islamic expansion. Although this text is written from a Christian perspective, there is abundant material for secular researchers dissecting an aggressive ideology. Hammond, who is located in Africa, brings a remarkably fresh perspective on the issue of slavery. Slavery, Terrorism and Islam is an invaluable desk reference and primer for analysts addressing Islam as an ideological force.” B.G., USA

“Thank you for your marvelous enclosures - truly miracles of missionaries. That young Calvin – Wow!” M.N., USA

“BIG thank you for the books you brought. Your time, effort and message is always enjoyed.” B.C., JOY! magazine

“I thank you for publishing the truth on this country. Even our Christian brothers and sisters do not want to acknowledge the fact that we are under severe attack from the Marxist ideologies. This country is in desperate need of Jesus Christ to save us from this anarchy before it is too late. Thank you once again on the insightful and very honest look into history, not the ‘Politically Correct’ version.” C.H.

“I enjoy your biographies and sketches of important people, Boniface, Spurgeon and English characters and their challenges are important. As a historian myself, I appreciate your research and writings very much and admire your skill and knowledge with which the Lord has endowed you.” Dr. F.H., Stellenbosch

“Your letters and ministry are always an encouragement to me.” Dr. J.B., MI, USA

“I have enjoyed reading your book Faith Under Fire in Sudan. It has been a blessing to me.” B.M.

“Thank you for The Power of Prayer Handbook. Excellent – thank you!” H.S.

“Thank you very sincerely – for Slavery, Terrorism and Islam. It shows a formidable amount of research on your part, and I cannot begin to understand how you have been able to do it in your very busy and active life. Thank you for the literature which you send.” Rev. A.L., UK

“A BIG thank you for all the books that you brought with. Wow! That is an amazing blessing to us.” S., Lighthouse Christian School

“Thank you very much. You are the only one who has responded with sound Biblical counsel and stand. So grateful.” A.D., USA

“Thanks for all the e-mails I get so regularly – each and everyone of them is a great blessing to me. I often print the newsletters and distribute it to others – thanks for taking the time to prepare them and for all the research that goes into it. We also wanted our children to study English literature. My youngest daughter enrolled at the University, adding English Literature as a major. Well. Politically correct. Vulgar. Explicit. Each and every sexual sin described graphically in the most shocking, filthy, vulgar detail. I went to see the lecturer. Her office had pictures of Buddha, various Hindu gods and goddesses and several New Age icons on the walls. The matter was referred to the Head of the Faculty. I offered that my child could analyse two or three other books in the place of this one. I mentioned Dickens, Jane Austen, Shakespeare. It was refused. I honour my child who stated openly that she would rather fail her subject, and consequently the academic year, than to expose herself to such filth. Fortunately she passed her exam, but she has changed her course completely, as a matter of fact, she even changed universities. I am also concerned about the other young students who want to study English Literature. Some of us are shocked, feel nauseous, go back to God to confess this sin of exposure to evil.” L.

“I have recently read Lenora Hammond’s article Modesty - the Undressing of our Youth and I just wanted to send you a GREAT BIG THANKS. This article is what everyone needs to hear because it is honest and straight to the point. Keep up the good work and may God richly bless Christian writers who aren’t afraid to speak the truth. I have made several copies to send to friends and family.” C.

“Thank you for your recent newsletter – so great – young Calvin – how wonderful, your youngest missionary ever!” M.N., WA, USA

“Thank you very much for your latest book Reforming our Families. These topics are extremely close to our hearts. We are very much on the same wavelength. Thank you for every book that you are writing. I’m one of the fondest readers of everything you write.” J.

“Thank you very much for your excellent articles – well-researched and well-presented.” K.J.

“This article based on your Islam book came out of the blue to me. You are having an impact beyond your wildest dreams.” D.M.

“Thank you so much for your article on Christophobia. It could not have come at a better time and has been passed around.” A.H.

“Someone passed on to me an article by you on Jonathan Edwards. I thought it was particularly good and wondered if I could us it in our church magazine, the Free Church Witness?” W.

“The effort you make by compiling all these pieces of information is appreciated…very interesting. ‘The truth will set you free.’” L.D.

“I read with great interest Peter Hammond’s response to the shameful article written in the Cape Argus. It was good to read a well thought out, calculated response to the lies propagated by secular humanistic reporters. Congratulations!” M.D.

“We enjoyed reading your Family News! What a great family and what beautiful children you have!” T.N., Somerset West

“Thank you for the book Slavery, Terrorism and Islam. May the Lord bless and use it mightily in the days to come. Keep up the good work Brother, we are both in the battle together.” H.P., Multi Media Ministries

“Thanks for your stand and for good and well researched info that you use to write your articles.” B.M.

“Thanks for the Frontline newsletter. The plight of the persecuted church has come to light in many evangelical churches in the West mainly due to efforts from people like yourself. The future is a challenge we’ve never had to deal with before with the threats on our pulpits and our people.” Pastor T.T.

“Thank you for Biblical Principles for Africa. Congratulations on writing and producing such a wonderful work!” A.P.

“I again thank you so much Dr. Hammond, for the route I have followed in my public life has often been very lonely and difficult for me. Thanks once again for the copy of Biblical Principles for Africa. I would be grateful if you can spare a few more of these.” Prince M.B., MP

The Power of Proclaiming God’s Word

“The first time I came to know you was when you came to Lusaka for the Conference. I remember your son reciting the Ex. 20 Ten Commandments, and the Full Armour of God. Eph. 6. As if it was not enough, he spiced it and crowned it all with the Gospel presentation - that was wonderful, encouraging and challenging indeed! Your messages left such an impact on my life. Your understanding of these issues of economics and politics in the light of the Bible and your Christian courage is very inspiring and spiritually eye opening. Thank God for a brother such as you. Keep up your good work, you are inspiring so many of us.” Pastor A.M., Zambia

“I just want to thank you for the wonderful experience I had at the CFT conference at KwaSizabantu. It was wonderful to see your enthusiasm, obedience and dedication with Frontline Fellowship to build the Kingdom of God on earth. You have inspired me to follow up with what God has been calling me to do for such a long time.” J.F.

“Thank you very much for what you did during your visit to Zambia. My family, our pastors and the ministry, we say Thank You very much. In Zambia you may have a lot of children. I have made up my mind to do what you are doing; follow your example. I will be in Mozambique preaching Jesus.” Rev. R.M., Zambia

“I always enjoy reading about the ministry there. We met at a conference in Switzerland. I did not forget what God did in my heart then.” M.F.C.

“You are one of the rare preachers who still insist on repentance and sinless living. I can quote a few of the noble mettle of John the Baptist and Saint Paul; the likes of Rev. Erlo Stegen of KwaSizabantu Mission; Dr. Peter Hammond of Africa Christian Action. You talk like Spurgeon and Bunyan. This is about the Glory of God.” Evangelist I.M.

“I attended the Summit and heard you speak. Your presentation was extremely compelling. I was encouraged that someone has the courage to go to some of the remotest parts of Africa risking their life for the sake of the Gospel. That is the Christian worldview in action! It is people like you who give us hope. My prayers are with you and your family.” K.J.D., USA

“I remember listening to Peter Hammond. What he has done for the Lord is amazing. I have recently been discharged out the US Military and I’ve been wanting to do missions.” D.G., USA

“Enjoyed the uncompromised Word of God through Peter at the ACE Administrators’ Seminar in the Drakensberg!” R.M.

“We were so privileged by your visit. You were such a blessing and your message was spot on. Thank you, you re-envision us as staff and leave such a legacy behind every time you leave. Thank you for what you are doing for the Kingdom.” G.O., Alexandria Christian Academy

“I am really blessed by the wonderful work that you are doing in bringing the pure, inspired message of God’s precious, inspired Word to a world bombarded with satanic lies. I pray that you will be greatly encouraged and blessed in your endeavours. Hebrews 6:10. I am grateful to you for the work that you do for His Kingdom.” G.E.

“Thank you so much for your stance in proclaiming the Truth! We are encouraged by your family and Calvin’s bold proclamation of the Gospel.” H.B.

The Impact of the Internet

“I have just checked out some of the writings on your website. I have to say that you are an inspiration and brilliant writer and researcher.” R.C., Australia

“I have a passion for the lost. I love many of the articles that Dr. Peter Hammond writes. I have found the article, Humanists are Hypocrites very interesting. It’s amazing how humanists can silence Christian many times by using the word ‘hypocrite’ and hear it is clearly shown that they make themselves guilty. Thank you for standing up for Jesus and doing so in love.” L.B.

“I have just read your web page on Revival and I sent this e-mail to register. My desire is that God would revive me and this land.” H.W.

“Thank you for the message If My People. I am blessed. I found it by chance on the Internet. God bless you and your ministry.” F.S.

“Your information came in extremely handy for my History vs Hollywood research paper on Kingdom of Heaven. Thanks for the hard work and dedication you put into this.” J.A., USA

“What a wonderfully written article by Dr. Hammond on Sir Walter Raleigh, fact is much more interesting than fiction.” C.H., USA

“I am writing to let you know how blessed I am by your e-mails. I have been so appalled by the re-writing of history. And this is even accepted by many believers. Since receiving your e-mails I have found someone like minded and have been encouraged, equipped with an even more clear view of the facts, been sharpened and motivated to stand with you in praying for the country – and region – I love so much in my heart.” A.S.

Leadership Training

“Thank you and all the staff of Frontline Fellowship for the great work you did to train us in 2004. To me it was a starting point of evangelism and church planting. I planted many churches because of the Great Commission Course.” Pastor M.Z., Zambia

“Thank you sincerely for the skills you imparted upon me during the BWS and the GCC courses. You presented the Gospel in a very untraditional way. Your ministry of the Word of God was exemplary. God opened my eyes to see things from a very different perspective during the BWS and GCC courses.God has raised you so that you may raise others. He has blessed you so that you bless others. I am not able to describe to you how God used you in a unique way to transform my life. I am fired up for the Kingdom of Heaven and I am willing and available to be used wherever God sends me. I personally appreciate what you are doing. People may criticize you but I, being a beneficiary assure you that it is not in vain.” Rev. A.M., Kenya

“Thank you for the awesome experience at this year’s GCC. Thank you very much for such a great course which you have presented to us. It was so professionally presented by such a dedicated team that I just have the highest praise for each and everyone involved. It was my experience that you have taken so much trouble to invest part of your lives in us.” J.B.

“God has blessed you with a great vision, and your courses are indeed the best I know. A man must be allowed to enjoy the limits of his endurance, and know that he can go beyond himself.” D.S.

“A huge thank you for the absolutely mind-challenging Biblical Worldview Summit.” E.B.

“Thank you for the hospitality afforded us on our visit to your offices. It is always a privilege to engage with like-minded believers who share the passion for the Truth of God’s Word. We pray that your Summit will be a great success.” J.N., Focus on the Family

“The BWS ad GCC brought about a great turning point in my life. Your life is purposeful and Frontline Fellowship is focused – it has inspired me to have great ambitions for Jesus Christ – Thank You. I pray that the Lord will use the BWS and GCC to change many lives to have a mighty impact for their communities and countries.” D.F.

“Thank you for your kindness and hospitality. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and Dr. Peter’s insights have added a dimension to my ministry that will have lasting impact.” Pastor D.R., Nigeria

Television

“Thank you for flying to help us out with our program! All of us here at ATTV are sincerely grateful and we all think you were a brilliant interviewee! Thank you for all your help and for being such a wellspring of information.” Z.N., ATTV Communications

The Wonder of the World Wide Web

“I think you have one of the most edifying and Christ-honouring websites in the world. Keep up the good work.” P.O.

“What an anointed website! Every time I am moved to stop and pray. Thank you. Amen.” M.B.

“I am writing from Kenya and it was by the grace of God that I visited the Internet and was privileged to find your contact. After prayerfully reading and studying your web pages, I was spiritually charged, moved and thrilled. My spiritual electricity went stronger to find that you have what we need for spiritual growth. Right now I don’t feel like my feet are touching the ground because of the desire that has been ignited in me by reading your web page. We hunger and thirst for your fellowship and teachings.” Pastor M., Kenya

“I read your article on the late Francis Grim. I must admit that it convicted me 100% and that I’m slack on witnessing. That’s why I now hand out Gospel tracts to everyone I see and now I even gave one to everyone in my department at work. It is so fulfilling to actually do as the Lord instructs us to do. Thank you for the e-mails and the post you send to me, it is really amazing to see the truth for what it really is.” C.H.

“I read your piece on Eternal Judgment. I was doing research on the explosion on Mount Vesuvius. I found it to be Biblically sound. Here in the US, we have lots about prosperity, but not too much talk about the coming Judgment.” AB, USA

“I have just been reading through your website and have been in awe of the level of commitment to Christ and the level of persecution you have undergone for the Name of Christ. I would love to partner with you in prayer for Revival in Africa.” R.C., Australia

“Thank you for your website which I found this afternoon. I have been reading avidly for a few hours. I searched for grace on web pages. I was very impressed by all the subjects that you cover in depth. There is clearly much to read and digest on your web pages and I intend returning. Clearly you have been working on the Spiritual side. Well done! Please pass on my gratitude to your wife for her articles too.” Mrs B.O.

“I visit the Frontline website while putting together sermon material. Some of your wife’s articles on parenting and Home Schooling is priceless. I was blown away by the stories of your son ministering with you on one of your recent trips. I’m glad there are still some parents who have the guts to let their kids experience God and ministry on a real level.” N.M., USA

“May we post your recent article,Warfare and the Word on the Povidential History Festival website? We want to build that website into an international resource for giving glory to God through proper study and acknowledgement of His mighty deed in history. Your article would be of benefit in honing people’s ability to view history through God’s eyes.” M.E., Biblical Blueprints, NE

Middle East

“Living in the United Arab Emirates I am well aware of the ‘tolerance’ demonstrated by those practicing the Islamic faith. It is here that I came to Jesus as my Lord and Saviour, thanks to the Internet. Your website is blocked by the government authorities who control the only Internet service provider (Etisalat). On my holidays, I remember to check your website. It is silent heroes like you that inspires us to push the envelope in our Christian walk. It is men like you that are indeed true to the Word of God. Unfortunately much of the Gospel preached centres around health, wealth and prosperity that evangelism of your nature is the remotest thing on the mind of so many Christians. May God bless you, your family and your ministry in His great abundance. May God continue to use your ministry for His great Glory.” H.A., United Arab Emirates

“Thank you for doing such a good work in our community. My gym took part in a Halloween celebration and I refused to go. I spoke to them in love. When I went onto the net to find some more info to give to them, to hopefully stop them from participating in years to come, I found your website as the first anti-Halloween information. I printed your letter to give to them and I would just like to thank you once again for your input into South African lives.” M.D.

“Thank you Peter for all these e-mail messages I have been reading all year and benefiting greatly from! I marvel at how you find the time! It is always educational and sometimes even directional! For instance, recently made copies of your ‘Bible and Halloween’ info and gave it out to my young adult children. I believe it made an impact on them especially when a badly burned body of a young man was found the next morning in a local cemetery! They had just read what you wrote and I don’t think the kids will forget it. I found ‘Persuasion’ by Jane Austen on my library shelf and am reading it for pleasure after reading your review of English Literature. I am thankful you are in the world running the race God has given you, and running it well.” H.R., NY

“I visited your site and read excepts of the book on Islam. I salute you for the great work the Lord has accomplished through you. I only wish I had a 10 th of your courage.” K.R.

“Thanks for your excellent and stimulating peek into the life of Jonathan Edwards, which I am forwarding to several others.” R.T.

Encouragement from Intercessors

“Thank you for your brotherly love! Let the Lord always bless and lead you to do His will! We know that you are a warrior! When you rely upon the arm of the Lord, He shall never fail you.” A.L., Belarus

“It is a glorious thing to do great things for the Kingdom. On the other hand, the real wounds are not the ones received at the hands of God’s enemies, but the everyday lashings of tongues not well controlled. You, in your labours leading Frontline Fellowship, have not been shy about proclaiming all that Christ has commanded us. You have proclaimed the Lordship of Christ. You have proclaimed the grace of God in the cross, as well as the Law of God in the Pentateuch. You have affirmed that Jesus ought to rule in our hearts, and that He must rule the nations. You are the very embodiment of bold, Reformed, postmillennial, pressing the crown rights of King Jesus, action. People like me write about it, think about it, even dream about it. You are living it. Dr. Hammond please do not grow weary in doing good. We need to be reminded of the important things. We need heroes out on the frontlines, so that we might be able to discern the frontlines in our own spheres. Do not let us ever lose sight of the reality of the battle. I have purposed to pray more faithfully for you, and for all God’s faithful missionaries. I will pray that God will continue to grant you courage. I will pray that he will supply stamina for the long battle.” R.C.S, Jr.

“We are very encouraged by your work and appreciate your service to the Lord.” J.P., Florida

“Thank you. It’s lovely to know that we can rely on the Body of Christ even if we have not met.” M.M.

“I recently became aware of your work in Africa and I thank the Lord for the faith, dedicated, and courage He has given to you to further His Kingdom there.” C.H.

“Thank you for not compromising in any way.” L.B., Trichardt

“Thank you for sending me the material Dr. Hammond. I will be putting it to good use. I’m so tired of us letting satan rule all on all spheres in the world. We must remember Christ’s Kingdom.” C.H.

“We thank God for you and for your STRONG, unwavering stand for TRUTH!” B.W.

“I desperately want to be fed by Dr. Hammond’s ministry. My youngest daughter attended the Summit in 2004. We then as a family had the opportunity to sit under your preaching in Benoni. On the night I knew I had met with a man of God and a man that has a love for Africa.” D.M.

“Your clarity and Christian realism are most refreshing and enlightening. We pray for your people. I have quoted you more than once.” J.O., Adelaide

“Thank you for all you do in the frontlines. I want to support effective and true Gospel ministries so I support you. FF is a ‘true-blue’ ministry. Keep up the good work.” J.D., USA

“Thank you for the wonderful example of trust and forbearance which every member of your family shows as you track through difficult times. Do you even know you set such an example? – Well you do, each of you! And whenever I reflect on the staggering breadth and dept of the work that you do and continue to do – I realised again that I am, that we all are, privileged and blessed by God to know you and to be touched by you.” W.H., Rustenberg

“Keep on the good fight. Keep the TRUTH before us at all times. I appreciate your work.” S.P.

“We praise God for your ministry and thank you for your dedication and commitment. Your ministry is truly a blessing to us and to millions others.” A.S.

“Our prayers are with you. We are in desperate need of a prophetic voice in our nation and internationally.” K.S.

“I sincerely thank you for all the teachings, books, urgings and encouragements, updates, newsletters, and everything I receive by post and by e-mail from Frontline and ACA. You have no idea how far those items go. They are used in prayer meetings we have, services we run, printed out and given to those who are searching, and the list goes on and on. Heavenly Father thank you so much for the staff at Frontline who work under pressure often but are committed to You.” A.G.

“In the Power of Prayer Handbook by Dr. Peter Hammond, he says under Our First Priority ‘Luther recommended a set time for personal devotions, early morning or at night, and warned against postponing them for any more urgent business.’ Your encouragement and prayer make the walls of darkness and spiritual bondage crumble – and may the Lord of Hosts equip me to step over those walls. Thank you for your diligence, your encouragement and your invaluable spiritual warfare allegiance.” J.M.

JOY! Magazine

“It was awe-inspiring to read what you wrote on Ian Smith. Your ministry is unique. I heard of work through JOY! magazine. It is very uplifting.” C.H.

“While reading the JOY! magazine I came to Come Back! Well I love this headline since it really touched my heart. I have been a Christian now more than ten years; for almost five months now I’ve been away from the Lord and I am feeling guilty of this and want to come back to Jesus. This ain’t easy because I am sharing a flat with friends.” O.

The Bible and Animals

“I am not a Christian, though if I were, I would agree with you entirely. Why would God bless the earth with such beauty and diversity, expecting it all to be damaged (painfully) for sport?” L.H.P.

“I am passionate about so many (well, just about all) subjects that you address on your website. One is The Bible and Animals. I pray that God protects you and your family. May God bless you, your family and ministries.” S.V.

“Thank you for the article which you sent. I too have rescued many injured birds and strays at the side of the road and you just wonder how many hundreds of people have driven past and not stopped to help. I pray for your ministry and really look forward to meeting you some day in Heaven.” N.M., Northern Ireland

“I just read part of your site and am thrilled to see a Christian stand up for animal welfare. I have become involved and learned a lot about the plight of horses.” S.P.

“I love your Bible and Animals website. I volunteer for the USPCA (Northern Ireland) and campaign for animals as well as caring for my own animals most of which are rescued. Your Bible reference are great and I know for sure now in my heart. I will pray for the animals in Zimbabwe and for your in helping them.” N.M., Northern Ireland

“Thank you for the beautiful website on God and Animals, it is wonderfully written and I could not agree more! God bless you and all those who work on your behalf.” V.G., NY

Audio Visual Ministry

“I enjoyed your Battle for South Africa CD. Thank you for your inspirational work and urge you to ‘keep it up.’ It is of great concern that not only is history being taught inaccurately, but indeed there appears to be an attempt to ‘white wash it.’” C., USA

“Thank you so much for your visit, e-mails and letters. I just returned from a group discussion with the senior class. We used your CD you sent How to Fail in Life and it really made us stop and think again about society and what we keep ourselves busy with. Thank you and Frontline Fellowship again for the materials you donated for our library. It is really such a valuable asset and I know that it is going to influence our children, forming and changing and encouraging them. It is really uplifting to get perspective again on those missionaries and Reformers that went ahead of us. Our students enjoyed Calvin’s presentation. He was really an encouragement to them.” C.A., Immanuel Christian School

“Recently I was in Pretoria preaching in a Christian School, and the principal was telling how you were such a blessing to the principals at the ACE Conference. Also our family enjoyed listening to your CDs on our long drive home! Especially one on recent South African History, The Battle of Blood River, and Cromwell. I pray for you all each day.” P.Y.

“I have very much appreciate the books & CDs you’ve sent us. I received Biblical Principles for Africa and was amazed at some things you pointed out. You have driven me to study the Scriptures more diligently, thank you. All your books are inspiring, Spiritually challenging and uplifting. My favourites are The Greatest Century of Missions and The Greatest Century of Reformation. Listening to your CDs I am particularly inspired by Can Jesus Trust You? L.C.

“I recently received very valuable CDs from you. I found it very insightful, especially Day of the Covenant. Thank you so much for these CDs. It really was a nice blessing to me. It is a very mportant part of our history.” J.K.

“I have listened to your sermon CD about The Bible and Animals a couple of times and it brings great comfort.” N.M., Northern Ireland

“I listened to your CD lecture The Crusades vs Jihad several times. Excellent! I especially appreciated the factual information you provided concerning Muslim atrocities that preceded the Crusades.” J.E.

Reformation

“My profound gratitude for the books and teaching materials. The Church of today needs men and women like Martin Luther who will stand for the cause of Reforming the Church of the Lord. What we

are experiencing in the churches today in Nigeria, and in and around the world, is so painful. The Church has been corrupted by the so-called prosperity theology that does not give place for the preaching and teaching of the true Gospel of Christ Jesus. All books and teaching materials that you send to us shall be used to the glory of the Lord in edifying the saints for the fulfillment of the Great Commission.” Rev. S.O., Nigeria

“When I am in any fellowship or setting where you and your fine ministry have something to do with, I meet remarkable people. I fully enjoyed the presentation on Martin Luther. Keep up the good work!” D.B.

“Our sincere thanks for the grand tour that we were privileged to experience on Friday at the Huguenot Museum and Monument. It was a blessing to us and I believe something that the children will look back at and remember.” Lighthouse Christian School

“It is heart warming and encouraging to receive all the articles and hear of the activities that the Reformation Society is so actively busy with. I have been praying for our country since the early 70’s. This is how the Lord answers prayers.” A.V.

“Thank you so much for Reforming our Families. We are greatly inspired by it as we view our children and our marriage as precious and a huge responsibility. I am so grateful that you took the time to write this desperately needed work. There exists only a precious few examples of what a Godly family should look like. We appreciate your family as an example. Please convey my family’s appreciation to yours as I can imagine the sacrifices they made to be a part of this book. We have been reading portions of the book and my children were encouraged to see that we share the same values concerning the Bible, discipline, music, clothing, movies, TV, education, etc. May God protect and bless you and your family for His purposes.” D.F.

“Thank you so much for Biblical Principles for Africa. We are praying it will be a blessing to encourage Reformation in many parts of the world.” C.B., USA

“You did a great presentation of Luther on Reformation Day at our church.” Rev. T.H.

Remembering Rhodesia

“Thank you Dr. Hammond for your remembrance of Rhodesia and the courageous Ian Smith. Since I met you in 1997 I have regularly prayed the Imprecatory Psalms against the tyrant of Zimbabwe and his party.” F.L., USA

Boxes With Love to Zimbabwe

“Thank you so much for delivering the supplies to Zimbabwe. It is really wonderful how God already worked through all this.” T.E.

“Frontline Fellowship’s long and unwavering support to the people of Zimbabwe is greatly appreciated and highly valued. Thank you for your prayers and all your efforts to the long oppressed people of Zimbabwe.” C.M., Zimbabwe

“I cannot find the words to express my gratitude for all that you have done for us. The donation and transport of food and medicines and so much more. What a privilege. Thank you to your families that allowed you to travel and go into the ‘unknown’ without reliable communication so that we may be blessed. Thank you to those who so generously and kindly donated to our cause. Thank you for thoughts and prayers.” J. Zimbabwe

Thank you so very much for your partnership in this mission. Your prayers, encouragement and practical support mean so much to us. May God continue to bless, guide and strengthen you as you seek to be faithful to His Word and His work.

“Finally brethren, pray for us, that the Word of the Lord may run swiftly and be glorified, just as it is with you, and that we may be delivered from unreasonable and wicked men; for not all have Faith.” 2 Thessalonians 3:1 – 2
