To celebrate the anniversary of Dr. David Livingstone sighting, mapping and naming of Victoria Falls on 16 November 1855, we are organising a
To stand before this thundering panoramic view of a massive wall of water amidst the smoke that thunders, in the midst of a splendid nature reserve, is an awe-inspiring, never to be forgotten, experience. In the course of my missionary work over the last 30 years, I have frequently had the privilege of visiting Victoria Falls and it always greatly impresses and inspires me.
2013 is the Livingstone Bicentennial. Throughout Africa, and in many other parts of the world, special events have been arranged to mark the 200th anniversary of the birth of David Livingstone. Frontline Fellowship has hosted a series of special events at Livingstone House, our Missionary Headquarters in Cape Town. We have also launched the
The Victoria Falls Livingstone Safari, 13 - 18 November will be the most visually spectacular venue, and the most historically significant time, to celebrate the life and legacy of pioneer Missionary explorer Dr. David Livingstone, the best friend Africa ever had.
An Experience of a Lifetime
If you have always wanted to visit Africa, this would be a unique opportunity to enjoy a tremendous holiday on the banks of one of the greatest rivers in Africa, within sight of the mighty smoke that thunders, Victoria Falls. This hotel is in the middle of a nature reserve, surrounded by wild animals. Our travel consultant has negotiated major discounts through block bookings with the

Activities for the Adventurous
Each morning, after breakfast, on the banks of the Zambezi River, I will lead the tour group, to some special sites: Victoria Falls, the Livingstone Museum, etc. Each afternoon is free for participants to select from a number of electives their chosen activity: whether a never-to-be-forgotten elephant ride through a nature reserve, bungee jumping off Victoria Falls bridge, or simply enjoying the swimming pool and facilities of the luxury hotel.
Those who want to can take a boat ride to Livingstone Island from where David Livingstone first crawled to the edge and viewed this incredible sight and let down a weighted rope to measure the height of the Falls, 16 November 1855. There is a water pool on Livingstone Island in which the adventurous can swim right up to the lip of the Falls!
A Great Holiday Venue on the Mighty Zambezi River
Needless to say there are more than enough things to see, do, and experience in the five days of this Livingstone Safari. The Royal Livingstone Hotel consists of a series of 17 colonial style buildings with deep verandas set amidst indigenous trees and plants offering an uninterrupted view of the Zambezi River and the spectacular Victoria Falls.
The first afternoon the participants will enjoy a sun downer cruise to enjoy the sights and sounds of the animals on the banks of the Zambezi River. Each evening the tour group will enjoy supper together over looking the Zambezi River, followed by evening PowerPoint presentations on the three great African expeditions of David Livingstone, his family, upbringing, life and legacy, and that of his convert, Henry Morton Stanley.
Opportunities for Ministry
For those ministers, missionaries and Evangelists who may be joining the Livingstone Safari, we will be arranging numerous preaching opportunities in local churches of Livingstone on Sunday, 17 November. Zambia is officially a Christian country and one of several central African states who are grateful for the life and legacy of Dr. David Livingstone, the first man to proclaim the Gospel in their region.
Book Now to Secure Your Place
If you are interested in the Victoria Falls Livingstone Safari, space is very limited and in order to secure the 25% discount negotiated by our travel agent, early booking is essential.
