 Thursday 5 February, hundreds of Boko Haram jihadists attacked churches in Northern Cameroon.

Destruction

The minister of information for Cameroon, Issa Tchiroma Bakari, reported that some 800 terrorists of Boko Haram had attacked the town of Fotokal where they burned churches and shot as many 100 people. Over 500 have been wounded in the attacks. Livestock was looted and a swathe of destruction left behind.


Human Shields
Military spokesman, Colonel Didier Badjeck, reported that Boko Haram are using civilians as human shields, making it difficult for the army to effectively deal with the threat


Convert, Flee or Die
Boko Haram has publicly threatened all Christians to leave all areas under their control or convert to Islam.
